Ambassador Programme

Become a MastChain Ambassador.

MastChain is an operator-run network that captures live AIS vessel signals from the air and signs every one at the source. Ambassadors are the people on the ground who represent the project, run MastNodes, and help ship real coverage out into the maritime world.

The Programme

What the Ambassador Programme is

Ambassadors are selected contributors who represent MastChain in their region and help grow its physical coverage. They support real-world infrastructure by running hardware, explaining the project to their networks, finding local operators, and identifying strong places to deploy a MastNode. Every credible voice and every well-placed node makes the network stronger, and makes the data more useful to the shipping and maritime ecosystem.

What ambassadors do

Three ways to move the network forward

01

Run MastNodes

Set up and run plug-and-play MastNode hardware to capture live AIS vessel signals from your area. No technical experience is required, and the MastChain team can help you get set up.

02

Represent the project

Be a credible voice for MastChain. Create content, join the conversation, and explain operator-run maritime coverage to your community and to people who could deploy.

03

Find locations and operators

Help find strong sites and local operators for deployment: ports, rooftops, marinas, towers, coastal buildings, shipping hubs, and maritime businesses.

Bounties: earn rewards for successful introductions or deployment opportunities you identify.

Who should apply

Built for people who can move the network forward

DePIN operators
Crypto and DePIN community builders
Maritime and shipping enthusiasts
People near ports, coasts, rivers, or shipping routes
People with access to strong deployment locations
Local networks in maritime, logistics, infrastructure, or Web3
People who can connect MastChain with local operators
People in Scandinavia or the Baltics

You do not need to be technical, and you do not need to live by the sea. MastNodes are plug-and-play, and basic participation can take only a few minutes a week. If you cannot host a node yourself, you can still help by finding a strong location or introducing a local operator who can.

What ambassadors receive

Rewards that scale with impact

This is a contribution-based programme. What you receive reflects your location, how active your node is, and the ambassador work you complete.

MastNode hardware

Provided to selected ambassadors.

MAST rewards

Earn the network token for the coverage you contribute.

Stablecoin rewards

Stable-value rewards alongside MAST.

Bounties

For identifying local operators or strong deployment opportunities.

Setup support

Hands-on help from the MastChain team.

Early ecosystem access

Get involved ahead of the wider network.

Community recognition

Visible standing as an early contributor.

Room to grow

Opportunities to take on more as the network grows.

Important

MAST is a utility and governance token, not an investment. This is a contribution-based programme, where what you earn reflects the real work you do and the coverage you help bring online.

Priority region

Where coverage matters most right now

MastChain is currently prioritising deployment opportunities around Scandinavia and the Baltics. If you are based there, know local operators, or can help identify strong deployment locations in the region, your application is especially relevant. Applications from other regions are still welcome, particularly where the location has strong maritime traffic or strategic value.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need technical experience?
No. The MastNode is plug-and-play, and the MastChain team can help with setup if needed.
Do I need to live near the coast?
No. You can also help find a deployment location or connect MastChain with local operators who can deploy in strong locations.
Can I apply if I already run DePIN hardware?
Yes. Existing DePIN operators are a strong fit for the programme.
Can I help without operating a MastNode?
Yes. Ambassadors can also represent the project, grow awareness, identify deployment locations, and connect MastChain with local operators.
Can I earn a bounty for finding local operators?
Yes. Ambassadors can earn bounties for identifying local operators or strong deployment opportunities that help expand coverage.
How are MAST and stablecoin rewards calculated?
Rewards are based on location, node activity, and the amount of ambassador work completed. They scale with impact.
How much time does the programme take?
If the node is running well, it can take only a few minutes a week. Ambassadors who want to do more can contribute through content, local outreach, operator introductions, and deployment scouting.
What regions are most interesting right now?
MastChain is currently especially interested in deployment opportunities around Scandinavia and the Baltics.
